About me

An on/off console gamer for many years with vague memories of the Atari 2600 and Commodore Plus/4, now a PC gamer playing mainly simulation titles especially those involving driving in one form or another.

Having finally gotten into multiplayer gaming back in the early 2010's I decided to take a leap of faith and try my hand at live streaming and content creation back in 2014, although admittedly it did take another six months before I summoned up the courage to actually go live on Twitch....

I was fortunate enough to meet up with some great people and organisations along the way which helped give the boost in confidence needed to carry on and yes, I know, it surprised me too but nice people do exist on the internet, although it can be hard work to find them sometimes.

I can't express enough how thankful I've been to be involved with the streaming communities at both SimulatorRadio and TeamTNT, both of which I have been involved with since 2016, and to the various gaming communities I have been part of most notably RG (Reality Gaming milsim community) and GOM (Grumpy Old Men) and I am proud to say that the people I have met along the way have remained friends to this day.

I am constantly behind the curve when it comes to the new releases but I kind of like it that way, why bother paying full price when you can pick it up 6 months down the line for cheap and most of the trolls have played themselves out :D

I made it to Twitch affiliate status a couple of years ago and would, eventually, like to make it as a full partner member on Twitch although this is but a distant dream at present. I also started live streaming on YouTube and quite enjoyed the experience so will be dedicating more time to this platform, as well as creating more video content for the channel. I have a small but friendly community on Discord known as The Grumpy Masses and we always welcome new people to join in online, details for all these platforms can be found on this website.

Website Under Construction

June 2020 - I finally got up the nerve to try my hand at setting up my community website. The first attempt at a home page was a bit of a mess quite honestly, put together hastily using a program I was not familiar with and was a bit too complex for a beginner to get to grips with.

This newer site, however, was built from scratch using HTML and CSS in the code editor built into the Microsoft Expression Web 4 application, with the aid of a series of tutorial videos from a YouTuber called Joshua Kywn, who sadly hasn't posted a video since 2011. Still, props for the video series, it was much appreciated.
